Protective Style Tips Group
Hair loss is a very sensitive subject and millions of women, men and children suffer with it. I am my own advocate, I discovered I suffered with a mild case of hair loss about a decade ago.
My hair loss was discovered after the side effects of the Depo Povera shot which I took for about 5-6 years.
Upon discovering my mild case of hair loss I decided to go natural in March 2018, and have been unrelaxed for two years. I cut off any remaining relaxed hair in March of 2018'.
I choose to wear my hair in protective styles because I am what you call a lazy natural. There was a time I would not want to deal with my hair until the Pandemic came. I created a group called Protective Style Hair Tips Group on Facebook to help women began to love on themselves as well and their hair.
Protective styles such as:
- Wigs
- Crochet Braids
- Hair Weaves
- Buns
- Ponytails
- Corn Row Braids
Are all forms of protective styling and it gives your hair a break from manipulation. Protective styles do not your damage hair, but promote hair growth and retain length. Protective styles get a bad reputation because of people abuse the concept of them.
Please feel to join the drama free environment and ask as many questions as you need and I will be more than happy to answer. See you in the next post!!
