How to deal with Hair Loss

Hair loss affects millions of women and men and most deal with it in private. The subject is embarrassing and can be depressing if you allow it. 

How do I deal with it?

I CHOOSE to wear wigs, buns and sometimes crochet braids. I chose to not have injections of steroids from a dermatologist, or get hair implants. I chose the non surgical way. My hair loss has not spreaded within my head, but I have it under control.

The size of the area is the size of about a silver dollar. I do not feel as if it will spread any further. I have also chosen not to get chemical services such as a relaxer or color on my hair.

I have a very small case of alopecia that was started due to the Depo Povera shot. I did not realize the side effects until years later, but that is water under the bridge.

Why do I wear Wigs?

I love wearing and making wigs. I can machine sew or use a latex adhesive to construct them into any style I prefer and don’t have to cut my hair. There are endless possibilities available.

How do I deal with hair loss spiritually?

He loves me is all that matters..... We do not find our worth in individuals, we find it in him.

His word says,

And the very hairs on your head are numbered. So don’t  be afraid; you are more valuable to God thank whole flock of sparrows. Luke 12:7
